The best Christmas ever was when my brother helped me get a flat-screen TV. But I soon learned that I needed an antenna for the TV to pick up signals from local broadcast stations that transmit their programming over the air.
I discovered that placing an indoor TV antenna higher than the television—ideally on a wall or high up near a window—can often improve signal reception. So I came up with my own idea. I stacked a few CD containers and attached my antenna to the top. At the very bottom, I added a Cool Whip container because it was wider and helped make the whole setup feel more stable…..
