Sir Croak was harder for me to create than Zippy the Fly Hornet. I knew I wanted the Little fly to be kind of human like. But I wanted the frog to be a man in a frog's body.

Sir Croak-a-Lot

 

Sir Croak-a-Lot was a huge bullfrog and the sworn enemy of Zippy Fly Hornet. Croak chased Zippy every day—he didn’t want anyone else to catch him. “He’s my dinner,” Croak would tell himself. Yet there were times when Croak saved Zippy from other dangers, not out of kindness but because he still planned to eat him…..

Zippy the Fly Hornet

Zippy the Fly Hornet is a character I made up when I was a kid. I guess I might have been about five or six. I saw Mickey Mouse, Mighty Mouse, and Bugs Bunny. I thought: "I want to draw and make my own toons." And so, that's what I did. I made up a character that was a fly. I thought: No one has ever done a famous character about a fly." We had enough mouse characters already. Mickey Mouse, Mighty Mouse, Jerry Mouse (Tom and Jerry), and Speedy Gonzales. All of them were successful.

 I decided to create a fly. I don't think I have that original drawing anymore. So now I am living in a day and time I can create things differently and a whole lot faster. But I still love to draw by hand and use my mind from stratch. But when I use a tool like AI, it makes me curious how my ideas look.

So here is Zippy the Fly Hornet. Some of it is AI and some of it is made by hand. Like I said, I still love to draw because AI doesn’t always give me everything I imagine. Listen to the story below..

God has blessed us with so much technology to do things on our own. We may not make it in the industry the way great people with great minds did in the past, but we can do something too. Today I'm making my own short toons and short films. However, it's not all in a video. It's not all in AI. It's not all just in a podcast. We have so many tools that we can use today to build our projects.

Did you know there was a kryptonite girl? Yes, there was! It was Superman's girlfriend, and we all know who that was. Yes, it was the Lois Lane. You don't believe me? No, she was never a superhero as far as I know, but something happened to her once that could hurt Superman.

 Lois Lane got kryptonite vision by accident, and we know that Superman can't stand kryptonite. This wasn't just a bad thing for Superman, but for Lois Lane too. She always wanted to marry Superman….

It began to be heard on NBC Blue on May 31, 1943 and lasted on-air until September 5, 1943—the period during which radio adaptations of comic characters were trending. The show was also broadcasted on Mutual from 1944 to 1945.
